COMPACT LIFE & RESCUE (CLR) BOAT
The unsinkable CLR is intended for use as a lifeboat on board cargo vessels, work vessel and offshore oil platforms. It features modular construction, and virtually any combination of sections is possible. For example, the length and capacity can be varied from 5.90 meters for 49 passengers to 12.37 meters for 109 passengers. It is also approved as a combination lifeboat rescueboat with a length of up to 8.50 meters. Various types of access are also available. The boat is powered by diesel engines rated at between 21 kW (28 h.p.) and 40 kW (54 h.p.). The compact, lightweight FRP hull provides a long service life. The CLR is approved in compliance with LSA Code 4.6 4.7 and 4.8 for Tankers.
